Meet the Founders of Evoke Custom Builders

Evoke Custom Builders’ founders Erik Hart and Barry Richardson grew up together in Parker, Colorado. Erik was raised in a construction family and grew up immersed in the profession. After spending time as a master trim carpenter, he became a superintendent for a custom home builder. 

 

Barry obtained his degree in graphic design. After working in that field for several years, he began framing houses on the side. He quickly realized that the home design and building industry was his true passion and also landed a superintendent role with a custom builder. 

 

With a passion for custom home design-build work, Barry and Erik put their firsthand, real-world experience together and opened the doors to Evoke in 1999. They both believe that customers benefit from working with builders that have hands-on experience in every aspect of custom renovations. They understand what it takes to design, manage, and oversee a home renovation project from concept to finish.

 

With extensive experience in carpentry and structure, Erik and Barry have a unique ability to analyze existing spaces and collaborate with designers and engineers to produce smart solutions to any remodeling challenge or scenario. 

 

The name Evoke reflects Erik and Barry’s shared passion for helping you, the homeowner, design and create living spaces that evoke the feeling and style you want to achieve with your home renovation. Evoke prioritizes communication so that your wishes and input are at the center of your home renovation. And Evoke’s design-build approach means you will be directly involved throughout the entire process to ensure a fantastic finished product.
